Kapil Dev, often hailed as the “Haryana Hurricane,” is a revered cricketer and philanthropist. Celebrated for his exceptional all-round cricketing skills, Kapil led India to its inaugural World Cup triumph in 1983 and retired as the highest wicket-taker in Test cricket with 434 wickets.
Among the numerous honors he has received are the Arjuna Award, Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and induction into the ICC Hall of Fame.
In 2002, Kapil Dev founded Khushi, a Delhi-based NGO dedicated to education, healthcare, and livelihood training, positively impacting over 10,000 lives daily. He has also been closely associated with the Vishwa Samudra Group, where he provides guidance not only in sports but also in inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Dr. Sandesh Mayekar is aptly called the Father of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry in India because he introduced the specialty in this country. He maintains a multi-disciplinary private practice with special attention to TMD and Orofacial Pain, Implantology and Aesthetics in Dentistry in Mumbai, India. With all these achievements he has the distinction of being named the “Father of Modern Dentistry in India”.
He is also famous for his book “More than a Mouthful”, published by Harper Collins, that became a National Bestseller in no time.
