Mr. C Sasidhar
A transformation leader with a visionary outlook, his passion for creating lasting businesses persisted from the early days when he turned around an IT company into a highly successful venture, followed by making an entry into Infrastructure and Maritime. And now, with the flagship company of the group – Vishwa Samudra Engineering (VSE), he has spearheaded a powerful wave like no other, becoming the fastest growing infrastructure company in India touching an Order Book Value of US$ 2.2 Bn in under 5 years! As the Chairman of the Vishwa Samudra Group, Mr. Sasidhar possesses an unwavering belief in the power of infrastructure to transform societies and economies. The dynamic driving force behind Vishwa Samudra’s ascending trajectory, he envisions infrastructure as more than just bricks and mortar; but the backbone of progress, connecting communities, enabling growth, and improving lives. His leadership style, marked by innovation, technical precision and rapid decision making, he commanded the fastest project execution of the Krishnapatnam Port in a record time of 18 months, by adopting new technologies and methods that increased the speed of work by 3 times, including the construction of 3 berths.
A Civil Engineer who went on to finish a Management Course at the University of Bath – UK, he is defined by a flair for creative excellence complemented by his result- oriented management skills. His ambition to see VSE in Asia’s Top 5 Infrastructure Companies by 2030 is on a strong path as the company expands overseas domestically and internationally with a multitude of infrastructure solutions, including India’s first Urban Ropeway Project in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, which will redefine the spectrum of urban commuting in India.
His legacy is one of rapid progress, innovation, and a commitment to leaving a positive mark on our Mother Earth. His technical expertise combined with a profound understanding of the transformative power of infrastructure, along with a rock-solid team, inspires the group to think beyond the present and create solutions that will stand the test of time.
At the iconic Krishnapatnam Port, which he spearheaded from 2006 to 2020, his diverse experience and sharp business acumen strengthened the Trading division with the creation of a spectacular Container Terminal, with state-of-the-art machines and operations. Despite the extreme challenges in marketing and sales for Containers, the terminal ensured a consistent growth of over 55% YoY, starting with 5-digit TEUs to an astounding 500,000 TEUs in FY 18-19, over 5 years.
A golf enthusiast and an ardent promoter of the sport, he started one of India’s most desired corporate golf tournaments – the Vishwa Samudra Golden Eagles Golf Championships, synonymous with Golf, Glamour and Glory.
A firm believer in community engagement and corporate social responsibility, he constructed over 500 houses for the fishermen at the Krishnapatnam Port apart from starting 2 marvellous schools for the community, in addition to other healthcare initiatives. The philanthropy arm, the
Chinta Sasidhar Foundation is committed to the society in the areas of education, creating an economy for bulls, senior living and wellness with ayurveda. As Founder of Nandha Gokulam, he is fighting a challenging cause that would positively influence the ecosystem of Bulls across the
country and reinstate their lost image. Set on a sprawling 250-acre campus in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, that includes a one-of-a-kind school of 19 acres, Nandha Gokulam would transform the way sustainable living would be perceived going forward.
Mrs. Lakshmi Priyadarshini
Mrs. Priyadarshini has been actively engaged in school education and been working with a NGO to impact children across age groups. Her students eagerly wait for her math lessons. Mrs. Priya was involved as a Director of the three schools set up at the Krishnapatnam Port, Nellore right from the inception of the project. She is detail oriented, and the CSF team relies on her for her honest feedback from time to time. Her strength lies in her patience and empathy that Mrs. Priya demonstrates in every situation.
Ms. Nisha Bhakar
Ms Nisha Bhakar entered the world of education when big questions were arising about traditional ideologues in education. Her over past two decades of hands on approach towards child development and education and her ability to sense practical solutions customized to every classroom has turned around many schools. Her hunger to learn is evident in her understanding of curriculum and pedagogy across national and international boards.
She led the Whole School transformation at The Heritage School, Gurgaon, set up one of the largest school offering Cambridge (CAIE) qualifications in Hyderabad and was heading a GEMS, Dubai Managed school at Jaipur. After leading 3 schools promoted by the Krishnapatnam Port Ltd, one of the leading private shipping ports on the east coast of India in Andhra Pradesh as Director- Principal -Academics. As the CEO of the Education vertical of the Vishwa Samudra Group, Ms. Bhakar is currently engaged in setting up international schools across the country.
She is also engaged as an Advisor and Consultant to schools besides being actively involved as a Resource person for some of the leading publishing houses.
